This Is A Family History Blog

Although Sr. Gertrude spent most of her life far away from her family, her siblings remained very devoted to her and maintained a steady flow of correspondence and hometown news. Sr. Gertrude and my grandmother Julia regularly sat down at their manual typewriters and dispatched letters to each other. This blog is a way for the descendents of Sr. Gertrude's siblings to share these letters, photos and memories with each other.
